It is a lower B level skate with players of mixed abilities.There are no refs, time keepers, or line's men. There are no timed periods, teams do not switch ends & no score is kept, it is pond hockey played in a rink. Even though there are no officials there are a few "Gentleman's Rules" that are followed. 1.No checking 2."Of f sides" are called by the players & enforced on an honor system basis 3.Slap shots are permitted, but be aware of players in front of you 4.No, hooking, or slashing 5.Bring 2 shirts with you a dark shirt ( Black or Red) & a White shirt 6.Helmets, gloves, elbow pads, shin pads, & cups are the minimum required protective gear 7.Hockey skates only 8.If the goalieÃ?Â's mask, or gloves are off donÃ?Â't shoot, if the goalieÃ?Â's back is to you, donÃ?Â't shoot 9.ABSOLUTELY NO FIGHTING !!!!!!! I'll also have each person in the group hit some balls into a net. Each person will have a video swing analysis done. You will have your swing compared to the top players in the world. Anyone who doesn't feel comfortable having their golf swing taped doesn't have to. This is a very laid back and fun group. My goal for this meetup is to introduce people to the game and get them excited! If you're an advanced player, you're welcome to join us as well. I know everyone will leave excited! Looks like a shorebird, but wheres the ocean These bizarre birds are woodcocks They look like shorebirds, but are native to the woods at Broadmoor. Every spring, woodcocks court, filling the last hours of daylight with spectacular aerial displays. Watch and listen as they rocket up 300 feet, then call loudly as they zigzag during their dive back towards earth. Come join us as we attempt to view this amazing rite of spring.
